Activity: Counting Cars

Count how many cars pass by on the road. Make sure you do the counting from a safe place!

Choose a time, say from 11:00 to 11:10 in the morning

• If you count for 10 minutes, then you can multiply by 6 to find how many cars per hour
• If you count for 15 minutes, then you can multiply by 4 to find how many cars per hour

You can use this form. Write down the time you start, and when you finish.
