Subtracting Fractions Illustrated
There are 3 Simple Steps to subtract fractions:
- Step 1: Make sure the bottom numbers are the same (so the slices are the same size)
- Step 2: Subtract the top numbers. Put the answer over the same bottom number.
- Step 3: Simplify the fraction (if needed).
